A Conversation on Hope
Friends, hope is so important in our lives. That is why I love Psalm 27:13.
"I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 (AMP)
Let’s follow David’s example in Ps. 42:5, and ask ourself this question:
Question: ” Why have you become restless and disturbed within me?"
The answer: "Hope in God, wait expectantly and Praise the Lord. “ Psalm 42:5
Another answer is in Job 11:18:
"Then you would trust with confidence, because there is Hope. You would look around you and rest securely.” Job 11:18
So I concluded:
Hope brings rest and security. Jesus is our Blessed Hope! …and we look forward to His coming back again. (Titus 2:13)
What would life be like without Hope?
If we have nothing to look forward to, then our life will go down the path to depression. Hope gives us peace, so that we can rest securely in our future.
Let this be our prayer today:
Heavenly Father, show your love to me today
and let Your covenant love be upon me
as I put my hope in You, and wait for your return.
