Dare To Dream
Is it easy for you to verbalize your hopes and dreams? We all have them. Either we call them wishes or we try to ignore them because we think they could never happen.

When I have a hope or dream come across my mind or stuck in my heart, I write it down. This way I can interact with it. It’s like putting substance to my outline. If I don’t paint a picture in my mind how will I recognize when my dream comes to pass?
Without hopes and dreams our lives stay small. It is good to spend time with the Lord and open ourselves up to more possibilities. I love this picture of me and my husband looking out of the Sintra Castle in Portugal, a much larger view than if I hadn’t decided to climb up all those stairs! When you look out over the valley, you can dream—you can see Lisbon, the Atlantic Ocean and Caiscais.

And here in Habakkuk 2:2-3, it says…
Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
Whatever is stirring in your heart today, take some time to write it down and see what else God may add to it!
